Pakistan Super League has produced numerous gems ever since its inception 2016. Similarly, the sixth edition this year is likely to produce a handful of talented lads that will represent Pakistani in years to come.
Here are some of the local stars that have impressed the cricket fraternity in the PSL 2021:
1. Usman Khan
Quetta Gladiator’s Usman Khan scored 87 on his PSL debut against Multan Sultans. The 27-year-old was a nobody in the cricketing circle before he smashed the Multans’ bowlers all over the park. The Karachi-born star has not represented Pakistan at any level, but he will soon earn his international call-up if he continues to perform like this.

2. Ahmed Daniyal
What a find Ahmed Daniyal has been for Lahore Qalandars. From impressing at the Dubai T20 League to keeping the economy tight in the PSL, the Lahore prodigy has elevated his skill set in no time. He’s another uncapped bowler who has taken on big names and triumphed despite not having a very decorated resume.
3. Saim Ayub
Quetta Gladiators’ opener Saim Ayub is yet to make it big in the PSL, but his performances in the Under-19 cricket speak volumes of his batting abilities. The lefty teenager can be Quetta’ driving force for the remainder of the season if he gets going in Dubai.
